At Nanovac, we spend our days helping customers answer one of the most important questions in space hardware development:

Will it survive in space?

It is a simple question — but behind it lies a complex world of vacuum, temperature extremes, contamination control, materials behaviour, outgassing, bakeout, thermal cycling and qualification testing.

For us, this question has become more than a phrase. It has become a way of explaining what we do.

That is why we are happy to share that our “Will It Survive in Space?” figure and mark has now been registered as a trademark with the Swedish Intellectual Property Office, PRV.

The small astronaut character was created to make a serious technical subject easier to communicate. Space simulation testing can be highly advanced, but the purpose is always clear: to help engineers, manufacturers and space companies understand whether their components, subsystems and materials are ready for the environment they will face beyond Earth.

At Nanovac, we build thermal vacuum chambers, bakeout systems and advanced vacuum test solutions for customers working in space, research and high-tech industry. We also operate our own test facility in Staffanstorp, Sweden, where customers can perform thermal vacuum and bakeout campaigns using our in-house equipment and know-how.

The “Will It Survive in Space?” concept reflects both sides of what we do: the serious engineering behind reliable space qualification, and the curiosity that drives every test.

Because in the end, that is the question every mission must answer.
